Taxi with a CD license plate? The taxi is a 1960/61 ('Breitkühler') 180 b, probably a Diesel. |

In Germany a CD od CC on the plate has no meaning ![]() Although it looks like that, but this example was NOT an Ambassador's car: https://imageshack.com/i/eyA051j7j ![]() - Diplomatic plate: Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" (57 is for Indonesia*) - a non-diplomatic employee ("B" for Berlin than the "0)) of the Swiss embassy owned a classic (US?) car or motorbike: Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" - what is common in NL (marking a second set of plates, when the originals are lost or stolen), happens in D only for Diplomatic plates: http://www.kennzeichenwelt.de/includes/bilder/0-24-1%20A.jpg (the "A" as last) - consulate-plates: http://www.ub-feuerwehr.com/resources/D.+Konsulatskennzeichen.jpg - Federal Government: http://www.kennzeichen-guide.de/grafiken-kz/d_bd15-11fahrzeug.jpg - HER http://www.manager-magazin.de/images/image-112549-panoV9free-ikcz.jpg plate: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/dd/AudiA8_Kanzlerwagen.jpg *A propos "57": the DDR had also a number-code for the countries. For me the "57" is the Holy Grail: https://imageshack.com/i/hlIOeKSNj (for Western Germany) - which I have in my collection since some weeks! ![]() |
