I'd say the SW is a Citroen BX Break |

I agree for the Saab 9000 (though it is hard to tell for sure from the distance), but I also think that the other one could be a GS Break. -- Last edit: 2007-01-02 23:36:42 |

Let's wait for DIEHARD, I bet he says it's a GS, picture is too flat so it looks like it's a big, long car. |

I think it's the BX Estate |

It is a Series 1 BX Break, produced in 1985 or 1986 (MY1986)... New page for it ![]() ![]() |

Side window look more like a BX indeed. I am not sure that it deserves a page ![]() |
◊ 2007-01-04 18:51 |
But the rear of the car curves like a GS break, while the BX went straight down? |

No, it is an optic effect ![]() |

You can see it by the black window surroundings on the third side window of the BX Break. That is typical for the BX. GS Break do not have this. Infact a BX Break is just a plain BX with the chassis and body extended. The design for that came from Heuliez. Whereas the GS Break was a seperate build and designed model. That is why you cannot switch the rearpassenger doors from a GS Break to a GS Berline, they don't fit as the roofline is different. With the BX however this is not a problem, since it is still the same car... Also the BX is much more a square car than the GS, the rear of the BX is more square, but the rearwindow is placed under a greater angle than that of the GS Break. |

Location: crossing of Keizersgracht (the large one) and Reguliersgracht (the narrow one; I walk around there almost every day...). -- Last edit: 2007-03-31 00:04:52 |
