Wasn`t it called Tiburon in Korea, where this scene was filmed?

It was actually called Tuscani in South Korea.

Ok. I think Tiburon was it's name in the USA, and Coupé in Europe.

Btw, European name was 'Coupe' without the diactric on the 'e'

Ah, sorry... I made this mistake because in Spanish "Coupé" has it and I'm used to write it this way ;)

No it's not a mistake of yours :) for what regards the name of the body type, it's a French word and the correct writing of the name requires internationally the 'é' as you wrote, my consideration regards only the specific market name of this Hyundai car (which I see it's always listed as 'Coupé' on IMCDb, but in the official denomination the 'e' is without the diatric, as you can see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Tiburon). Obviously it's not a real mistake, only a precisation. When I was a little child I remember an article on a magazine (probably Auto Bild, but I'm not sure), a test drive of a Hyundai Coupe in which it was literally specified how the name had to be written according to Hyundai, and from then on I'm always curious on how I see it written :)

That reminds me of a tv car program I saw one or two years ago (I think it was a German one) where they made a list of car makes that people pronounciates wrong, and Lamborghini and Citroën were on top, I think. But "writing mistakes" are less common. In this case, it's Hyundai's mistake (or just a commercial strategy to sell it in countries where diacritics are not often used, as in the UK.

Maybe they would differentiate it from some direct competitors which were also called 'Coupé' (eg. Fiat). Anyway, I have read that in US the same body configuration is officially called 'coupe' and not 'coupé' (but in the US the car was called Tiburon so it makes no sense for this topic :D)

In fact they wanted to call it "Tiburon" in Europe, but they didn`t because "Tiburón" (Spanish for shark) was a popular nickname for the Citroën DS.

Love the styling of these cars. I hated that they wrecked it :(
