No, the round taillights would first appear in the MY1959 handbook - or when the central stop lamp was removed. They were replaced US market MY1962/rest of the world MY1963 so the link above would be correct. |

Not to forget, that many T1 got a later replacement with the new taillights for safety reasons, because the originals were too dim. |
