I still refuse to add "Mk III" to these, since there was never a Mk I or a Mk II. They were called Consul. It works for the Zephyr Six and the Zodiac though. |

Yes. It's the simplest way out of a mess - assign Mark numbers for the sequence of body styles and then we don't have to worry about all the different name permutations (eg Mk1 was Zephyr Six, Mk2 just Zephyr, Mk3 Zephyr 6; plus the Mk1 Zodiac was actually Zephyr Zodiac). Everyone knows how to work the current system easily enough. |
