 I think it is an older one. Not only because of the oval around the chevrons (they were often put on cars without the oval, just because people liked it more this way), but a 1955 AZ would have had standard indicator lights located much higher and horizontally, and the clamps to keep the windows open were standard by than (and much smaller than these aftermarket clamps).
On the other had there is a clear colour difference between body and wheels. I would say it is a late 1953 or 1954 A with retrofitted oval on the grille.

Edit: And most probably these indicator lights were mandatory in Norway (unlike France), so 'Made for N'.

And I didn't notice they're differently located than 1955+ samples.

By law for closed vehicles either on a stalk (trafficator), one amber flashing lamp each side like this one has or the more modern flashing white or amber in front, red or amber in the rear, four lamps in all.
