Lübeck has HL numberplate. Hansestadt Lübeck. The AR is what's called a vanity plate in English - the owner usually has to pay additionally to get letters or numbers of his choice, not the computer's one.-- Last edit: 2006-12-14 01:00:27 |

The licence-plate is a fake. Regulary it's not possible to get an historic licence-plate in the old font. |

Olavsplates.com says that old style plates were discontinued in 2000. Could this be a historic plate issued before then? http://www.olavsplates.com/history.html |

No, these "H-plates", we call in Germany, were only availabe in the new euro-design. There are a very few H-plate in the old style on the road, but in this case the owner got it with some tricks (or the authority-guy was stupid) A propos faked plates: the most of the plates, shown in this forum, are fakes. It's funny for us licence-plate-collectors (www.nummernschilder.org) too see the fantasy of the film-makers. |
