1964 Radford Mini De Ville "Grande Luxe" - http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.uk/rad_sir.pdf - based on Mini Cooper (not S at this stage in 64) - this is Morris grille with thicker bars, modified by Benelite. Features seem to match (grille, sunroof, dashboard, door windows, headlight surrounds - apparently from Riley 1.5 etc. I suspect it may be a Radford demonstrator - see some of the detail pictures in http://www.radfordmini.free-online.co.uk/ of white car with red interior; also it looks as if Radford demonstrator cars had registrations x 1000 or xx 1000 - R 1000 also seen on a black one http://www.radfordmini.free-online.co.uk/history.htm and there was a coffe-and-cream used in the Adam Adamant TV series AA 1000. |

Isn't that an Austin Cooper badge? |

Yes. I think the Benelite grilles only came in Morris format - all Radford photos I can find show this fewer-but-thicker bars style. |
