Agree with the Squareback, but I think Sedan was not used down under. But, why 1973? [Image: think_smiley_30.gif]

AFAIK there were no visible changes for the 73-MY at the Type3 (the steering wheel maybe?). These headrests and the colour "leuchtorange" were already available for the 1972 MY. It's definitely not older than MY 1972, but why 130rapid points out "1973 only" I don't know. @Radek: :hello:

Four-spoke (if present) 1972+, high-backs 1971+

Black wipers were introduced for 1973.

Well, when I used that as 1973 tell-tale sign I was told they could be changed after so many years.

That's because we are more popist than the Pope sometimes. :sun:
We can say 'they could be changed after so many years' about all cars which have been got black instead chrome wipers through production run.
However I'd say - looking at many oldtimers/youngtimers restorations - wipers were (& are) replaced MUCH less common than body color. Because it's hard to break element instead wheelcovers, bumpers or edge lights.

Wiper blades are usually replaced by the owner as often as 6 month depending how much it has been used.

To correct myself, 130rapid and I were talking about the wiper arms.
(To be honest, I can't be sure on this car.)
