Plate returns: 2005 "Privilege" trim. VIN: VF1BG010B20609878. Very rare in Aus - only 186 Lagunas were sold in 2005. -- Last edit: 2023-07-11 23:31:56 |

Years ago my dad had a green Laguna like this one. I was really surprised when my uncle came to visit us from Australia and, despite not being a car expert, he didn't exitate to recognize it because - he stated - there were quite some around in Melbourne. I was a kid and, although already very much informed about cars, I didn't even imagine that it was available in Australia, where I thought the automotive landscape would have been more similar to the one of North America -- Last edit: 2023-07-11 23:46:50 |

I used to think similarly, I remember being shocked when watching: /movie_88580-Neighbours.html as at one point one of the main characters had a MK1 Megane. My experience of the cars of Australia from TV up to then was of the slightly unfamiliar larger cars, so seeing the familiar Megane was a shock. |

It happened something similar to me when I was about 4 or 5 and I saw a Fiat Uno or Mille in a Brazilian soap opera that my mom watched. I still didn't realize how much diffused it was over there ![]() And same for this, at around the same age, from one of my then favourite movies: /vehicle_11764-Alfa-Romeo-2000-Spider-Veloce-11541-1983.html -- Last edit: 2023-07-12 00:19:31 |
