Classic way to get rubber-, plastic- and wood-free metal-scrap... I've seen this also in a Hungarian movie from the 70ies, about a guy, who drived rallyes in a Renault 8 Gordini. Maybe it's already listed. Our Hungarian member BBDesign knows this film, as he told me already somewhere here. ![]() |

1930s cars at the time had lasted through the 1950s because most people could not afford to replace their car plus many manufacturers were encouraged to export to other markets. Many owners would be glad to get a new 1960s car and the old ones were worthless. In my family an old saloon had cable brakes which failed and the otherwise good car was scrapped to be replaced by a three year old Austin Mini. |
