The vehicle is too far away to tell. The only design feature that indicates the above Highlander is a "hybrid" is the small Intake Slot just above the license plate. (You can see the license plate slightly covers it) All Highlander Hybrid models have that feature (Although I don’t think the Intake Slot has any real purpose) It may just be there for looks…
