A mega rare "AUSTIN"Maxi Automatic!! All Top Gear fans can remember how Captain Slow May remarked on "How Many Left.com" that there was only one left in the world,, Not strictly true,, as it was only a year after launch they where all re-badged as "Leyland" Maxi's They where built at a ratio of 1:500 compared to 1500/1750's and HL's As they where more expensive than HL yet didn't have any nice touches the Hi-line had !!

Is it the same one that appears here at 1.50 Between the Sherpa and the 120Y ? Could have been a film crew's own car or BBC staff car,,Its a Manchester Registration too.. Theres another Maxi right at the end but it looks a completely different one..

Not strictly a TV or Movie car this,, But here is the very Austin Maxi Automatic James May refered too in Top Gear,, quietly living out its days in the west country..

@ianmax69 - probably even rarer than an Automatic - the Yugoslav "assembled" Maxis by IMV - /vehicles_make-IMV.html , Link to "www.aronline.co.uk" - we ain't got one yet, but ....
