Krauss-Maffei Leopard 2 ? |
◊ 2013-07-30 01:19 |
that was my first thought, too. it has a Rheinmetall (licensed) 120mm smoothbore gun we find on Abrams and Leo but with strange cutout in turret, allowing to alter guns position? compare chassis and pattern of side armor to Leo 2 A7, there is certain similarity Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" it seems to be a rather new and rare variant of Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann KMW Leopard 2 -- Last edit: 2013-07-30 02:15:19 |

Or just an inaccurate CGI model of the Leopard? |
◊ 2013-07-30 02:14 |
that is quite an idea, as it has turret contour mixture of early 1979 version with brand new chassis -- Last edit: 2013-07-30 02:14:49 |

Looks very real to me. |

For me not. The view on the side looks really CGI-ish and sveral details are different to the original http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/leopard-2a5-kl19.jpg Or it's made on the DPRK-style Link to "www.nti.org" Link to "www.thetimes.co.uk" -- Last edit: 2013-07-30 11:03:45 |

real or CGI? |

Really looks legit to me. |

It's real, of course. This paint job is unique to the Canadian tanks. This one would have come either from surplus German or Dutch stocks. |
