You're right, but try to find a " genuine" ex-taxi W123 (200D, 220D etc.) today. They were lucky enough to find an ivory-colored one. |

So it's more probable, that someone has mounted a 280 E/TE speedometer into a 200 D or 240 D. The other way, that someone has painted a 280 TE in "hellelfenbein" is very unlikely. A propos classic Benzes in taxi-usage: Link to "www.krone.at" (recently posted in my plate-forum). |
