Most lolest lol. Milicia's did never use 2101 with "new" white/blue color scheme and square flashlights. In the 90's 2101 allready was retired. |

Oh, so the Russian police was faster than the German one. .gif ";)") Some former "Volkspolizei"-Lada's from this early range from the DDR have survived in the unificated German police forces until the end of the 90ies. And even some Wartburg 353, too. |

I'm not sure about faster. Our roads is little different. Maybe somwhere, far from big cities, milicia's 2101 lived little longer. I didnt saw them. But it would be interesting to look at those police cars. Any 90's movies with proofs? -- Last edit: 2010-03-01 01:59:23 |

Hmm, I cannot remember movies with them, I'm referring own memories from that years and what my brother-in-law, a policeman nearby Berlin, has told me. Maybe something is to find in the "Polizeiruf 110"-episodes from 1990+ It's a former DDR-TV-series, which continues until today. P.S. They have a Wartburg: http://www.polizeioldtimer.de/ (click on "Oldtimer"), but beware, that some of their vehicles are fakes, just made for fun, as the Trabant, the Fiat 500, the Vespacar and the Citroen 2 CV. -- Last edit: 2010-03-02 13:26:29 |

At the brighten up pic it is possible to see, that rubber at the bumper is shorter than the bumper itself and on the sides it is attached by sort of the thicker clips ==> 1977+ |
