Here's another pic of the car, showing it is a Trooper and the real numberplate: http://doctorreplen.deviantart.com/art/Isuzu-Trooper-Ambulance-296014182 Plate consecutive to: /vehicle_635141-Isuzu-Trooper-1999.html -- Last edit: 2013-10-19 19:53:29 |

i think that should be separate entry since it's a different model plus it's was background vehicle for sometime in the classic I think and if I remember this properly used the shortlive parmedic who was very tired who's name I can't remember |

I think it's the same car, they just kept it for what must have been about 15 years and updated it over time. Here's a pic of S258VOP (same reg as the 16.01 pic) from 2012 which looks identical to the other shots: https://www.flickr.com/photos/charlie59/6928555660 WN52KNM belongs to a Honda Civic, S258VOP a 1999 Trooper. |

my pic for S28E03 up above shows this is probably the same vehicle. Weird how they kept for so long even though it was rarely used if I recall |

The plate is the same as /vehicle_635141-Isuzu-Trooper-UBS73-1999.html. So these two are properly are the same vehicle |

The Mind to Kill Trooper is S257VOP, plate is very close (only 1 digit different) but not the same. This would have been brand new when used in Series 14, maybe it hung around so long as they wanted their money's worth Seriously, I think the early appearances might have been a TV placement by the Isuzu importer (the same company imported Isuzu and Subaru and they did a lot of TV placement of their cars at this time) and then maybe after a few years on loan the producers bought it? The second Trooper in 14.07 is a 3 door (and looks like it might be a police car?) so not the same one. The fact Casualty had two Troopers in one episode kind of supports the theory of them getting cars on loan from Isuzu too. |

We can make out enough there, R395LJW = March 1998 Trooper Duty SWB. BTW, this is the site you can to check plates: https://www.vehiclecheck.co.uk/ and there's this one that gives details about whether a car is still taxed/on the road: https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ |

32.01 This appears alongside /vehicle_1381901-Honda-CR-V-RE6-2011.html which seems to replaces the Trooper a few series later as the new rapid response vehicle -- Last edit: 2020-07-19 21:16:22 |

18.19 So I guess by Series 18, it had the yellow paintjob that become permeant , also this point I think it had rapid response written on the side doors and back which were removed another couple of years later. -- Last edit: 2020-08-01 19:11:44 |
