no, it looks authentic, especially the dashboard. 356 Convertibles are rarely replicas (I cannot remember one right now), with Speedsters it's totally different. They are nearly all faked. |

Up to the 80ies German made radios had usually all four bands, short, middle, long and FM. There were even basic ones without FM, the cheapest from Blaupunkt had even only SW and MW. |

Yes, such strange things had existed. This radio looks Blaupunkt-ish to mee, due the font and the style of the chromated bezel. Very similar to the Blaupunkt "Münster", I have in my car. The "Münster" was not in the official VW-radio-range (they all had names of towns, where VW- or Audi-plants are located), but I've chosen it, because it has three programmable FM-station-knobs. |
