I think Wolseley 6/99 (date is difficult for 6/110 and these early boiled-sweet colour combinations were toned down by then). I've come across a claim that the first J collaboration with outside manufacture was assembly of Wolseley A9 from 1922 by an ancestor of Isuzu (and that it may have been the first series production of a car in Japan - anyone able to confirm??) so seeing Wolseley in J is not a total surprise. |

A bit late to the party, but that claim isn't entirely false... https://www.isuzu.co.jp/newsroom/details/nenp_001.html However, I'm pretty sure Mitsubishi beat Ishikawajima's Wolseley by a few years, and there was at least one other home-made vehicle in Japan that predates either of them. |
