Both Vehicles were owned by Randolph Mantooth and used as personal vehicles for John Gage. In the book, Emergency!Behind the scenes, Richard Yokley and Roxanne Sunderland deatail information on a lot of the rigs used. They also commented when the show filmed on the backlot of Station 127 in Carson, some of the vehicles in teh background belonged to the cast and crew.


According to Yokley's book the white one is a Series 2, 88 inch wheel base made by British Leyland. It is a 1969 Landrover.
The white one was also seen in the backlot of the station in the episode, Foreign Trade.

The pictures of the green body, white roof also belonged to Randy and was used in Season 6, when John and Roy went on a road trip to Santa Rosa County. It was destroyed in in a wildfire in 1978.
