And besides, I watch a clip from the old version of Top Gear on YouTube and according to the clip, this type of Volvo served as a getaway car of choice for British bank robbers in the 1990s as they could do 146 MPH flat out. -- Last edit: 2018-04-30 15:22:56

I ran the number plate through the DVLA database and the number plate; R989 BWW comes back to a silver 1997 BMW that has a expired 2012 MOT and a expired 2011 tax disc. Meaning the gang in the film had probably stolen the Volvo and the plates off the BMW and put them on the Volvo. -- Last edit: 2017-12-18 06:36:28
