So this is a MMFL-car? /vehicle_549750-Peugeot-405-Mi16-1988.html Such a Cold War-plate is still needed in my collection. But I have to be careful, as there are a plenty of fakes buzzing around. My plate-fellow, who wrote that book about them http://www.auf-spionage-tour.de/mvm_buch.htm has all four versions. |

Yes. I think that in reality the missions only used German cars. |

Oh no, also several US-cars. Most popular became the last ones, the Mercedes G and the Opel Senator, especially because of their special handmade (in Britain) 4x4-drive ( http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/7752/senatora2214.jpg although I'm not sure, if this specific car is a later fake). If you don't bother, that's written in German, I recommend this book. But Mark, the writer, was sometimes not correct with the identifying of the car-models. If there will be a 2nd edition, he will make the corrections. |

Ah, now I found it: the 4x4-conversion of the Senators were made by the British company "FF Developments" |

Yes, made by Ferguson (who also converted some Monzas). Link to "www.flickr.com" Link to "www.militaryphotos.net" |
