Heh, this episode was a memorable one. The project failed like the DeLorean car company itself. Jesse was quite disapointed. It got crushed by an AAV (Amphibious Assault Vehicle) at the end of the episode. The destruction and resulting carnage was quite similar to the fate of the time machine DeLorean at the end of BTTF III. |

From what I've seen on some sites, they actually built a DeLorean using spare/custom parts over an hovercraft rather than modifying an existing car (luckily...) But I am not sure at 100% as I have not seen the episode ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-09-15 12:43:08 |

Yeah, they thought it'd be easier if they just took the body and attached it to a hovercraft. Jesse (the host/team leader) wasn't too happy with that idea because he said that would be cheating. |

This was retarded, what a waste of parts that could've been used for an actul DeLorean........... |

I talked to Tom (the guy who owns the huge DeLorean shop out in California who was in the episode) at a DeLorean show a few years back. He told me that the night before they did the wrecking "scenes," he went back to his shop and swapped the parts out with some scrap pieces he had at his garage. Knowing that makes the episode a lot less painful to remember... |
