update this vehicle is now permanently in the UK, in the hands of the Kevin Wheatcroft Collection, it has been stripped and fully restored to as new condition, painted blue and black, originally the vehicle was found abandoned at Rastenberg by Paramount Pictures and was brought back to the usa and painted overall grey for movie work, the vehicle was in a few films then several years ago was sold to UK collector Kevin Wheatcroft who restored it back to its original colours of blue and black...which it had as Hitlers fleet transport, it has been on loan by him to various museums since he aquired it,when it came up for sale, he outbid the Mercedes museum to aquire it for an undesclosed sum. -- Last edit: 2020-05-31 15:22:40 |
