Genuine 1989 plate (dead since 2003). Same sequence as Harry Crawford's 216 in series four of Boon: /vehicle_502560-Rover-216-SD3-1989.html |

Wow, thats probably an early 827 literally one of the cross-over vehicles. I've got an 825 on an 87' E-plate. I've got a picture of the rear of the Rover Sterling and Lamborghini. Can I ask what series this episode in based in, I'd like to see the Sterling in action. |

That 827 is F-reg -quite common , early ones would be E reg . I think on E reg more 827s were sold than 825s |

![]() I am very aware that this page quite clearly indicates Howards' Way in the title above. It is the Season/Episode numbering that caused me some minor confusion. The 'E-reg' (1987) period was when the crossover from 825 to 827 took place, they are effectively the same engine with a few minor changes and a re-bore. How many 825s against 827s on an E-plate were sold I am unsure of. I have personally seen a few more 825s on E-plates than 827s. Anyhow, would anyone happen to know what Season/Episode the Rover Sterling appears in when its parked next to the White Lamborghini as shown in Mike962s post? -- Last edit: 2012-09-13 00:08:43 |
