I forgot who made Mr. Softee Trucks. This looks like a custom body manufacturer of some sort.

Looks like an early 60's Chevrolet Step Van P-30 to me, most of the Mister Softee trucks I remember were Ford Vanettes, which this obviously is not...comments?

A lot of them tended to be Boyertowns, after Ford stopped making the Vanettes. Plus, I think they had Boyertowns before then as well.

They look close, but when you look at the fronts, unless it's me, it looks a bit square in this case than in the link.

It's indeed Boyertown (shape of the front wheel arches, top of the body, etc)
