Can anyone blow this pic up a bit to get a better look at the car in question? It might be a 1925 Buick Standard six but not sure.

The first picture is of our 1928 Buick, Model 29 Town Brougham. The second picture shows the rear of our 1923 McLaughlin Buick, Model 45 Special touring car. Both cars are still owned by us in Marshall, Virginia, USA. We head that "J Edgar" was going to be made in our area, and that they were looking for original cars. We contacted the Warner Brothers site coordinator, and they came out and looked at the cars. We filmed for two days, the first in the town of Warrenton, VA. This was at the courthouse and you can see the 1923 car parked on the right in front of the courthouse. The 1928 can be seen sitting on a side street. On the second day we were at a local estate and the cars were parked on the road leading to the house. We also did an evening shoot at a garage down the street where you see both cars as backgrounds as J Edgar comes out of the garage. We had a great time with the film crew over the two days. Hope that you all enjoyed the movie.

This scene was the reenactment of the kidnapping and murder of Charles Lindbergh's infant son; Charles "Lindy" Lindbergh Jr who was taken from his bedroom of the Lindbergh Family home at Highfields, New Jersey on the night of the 1st March 1932.

The kidnapping and murder of Charles Lindbergh Jr resulted in creation of the Federal Kidnapping Act; making the kidnapping of minors and taking them across state lines a federal crime.
