Hmm, not sure. It looks quite authentic, but the hyphen on the front plate is higher. This was common only until 1961/62 (because the TÜV-sticker came). Otherwise its back plate is a two-lines "Kuchenblech", as common for Italian cars back then and VW Typ1. For the front plate the position of the hyphen doesn't matter (the ASU-sticker came in 1985). |

@andrepa: MB L406 debuted in 1967 _ 1st series Quattroporte with square headlights were produced until 1966... Try harder! One tip: It's from a humble Citroen. Which one? Find it out! It was the first car ever with sauere headlights (f you don't count Taunus which wasn't square but rather elliptical). |
