@Ingo sure it's a massive landyacht, but to me it just looks so excellent and smooth ![]() |

To me, too. My kind of car. |

Huge but very attracting. If I think at the (horrible for me) SUVs of these times, I think those old girls of Motorcity were huge but neautiful. I don't agree with the idea that tastes of that age were bad, namely comparing them with the 2010s. |

Yes, back when cars had character to them, instead of being an iPod with wheels |

To me, there was a certain majesty to those cars which is lacking in today's. |

True. Today, Lincoln has followed Cadillac's example and left the luxury market and entered the "luxury-sports" niche. A modern Lincoln is indistinguishable from a modern Honda or Toyota. You could that a car was a "Connie" from a mile away back in those days…..or so I've read. |

You've read correctly. I miss those days. |

I've thought 1972 was the best year of the Lincoln's style wise, I always feel the early 1970's Lincoln's get overlooked in favor of either the suicide door Lincoln's of the 1960's or the last of the huge Lincoln's of the late 1970's. |

They were majestic and classy cars. Worthy of the name "luxury sedans". |
