Les voitures de police, dont celle de Rosco P Coltrane, sont le plus souvent des plymouth Fury, et par la suite, des Doge Monaco... |

The 76 Gran Fury is the same body of the 1974-75 Dodge Monaco, the 1975 Dodge Coronet is the same kind of Plymouth Salon,In the Tv show the sheriff cars are 1977 Plymouth Furys,In 1978 the Dodge Monaco where like the 77 Plymouth Fury. This patrol car is not a Gran Fury folks, is a 1977 Plymouth Fury, I have one with 360 cubic inches . |

Interesting conversation regarding this particular Fury. I don\'t claim to be an expert on these cars, however, I do happen to own a 1978 Fury North Carolina state interceptor with a 7.2 liter (440 cid) engine. Whenever I need parts for it, it comes up on the computer as just a Fury and not a Gran Fury. Again, I don\'t claim to know everything about them except that it\'s a nice solid car. No 6 sparkplug is a real pain to get to because of heat shield. In my opinion, rocker B.J. had it right although not very tactfully |

These Furys were used later in the show by Rosco, Cletus, and Enos...when he returned after his spin-off show failed. Earlier on, they all used 1977 Dodge Monacos--and in the pilot and first season they used 1975 Monacos and even a couple old Polaras. |
