Same goes for the two door-version, too. There was no French equivalent either. IMHO the Dodge/Plymouth Horizon/Omni is also so far away from the original, that it should be listed as "origin USA", too. ![]() |

Yes, it seems to be right, what confirms the mentioned wiki article. Renault Alliance Convertible had also notable role in the 1991 (rather weak) comedy "Missing Pieces" with Eric Idle in the main role. Maybe someone can find this movie, I can't. Well it is based on a French one, even if indeed the convertible version did not exist in France. Originally we were listing all variants with the same origin (e.g. some pickup/wagon versions of Opel sold in South America) but mostly due to Ingo's pressure, that was changed later. |
