Based on the 1½-ton chassis, the 1941-42 Chevrolet Art Deco school buses were yet just described as School bus chassis, or Heavy Duty School bus chassis in Chevrolet literature, without anything more. See the 1941 brochure (Pdf / 28 Mb) and the 1942 one. There were 2 wheelbases in 1941-42: 160" / 4.06 m (YS / MS chassis code) and 195" / 4.95 m (YT / MT code).
