That is interesting with both battery powered amber and red light blinker. :sun:

Here is my comments at Internet Movie Light Bulb Database

Here is the American version of road construction lighted barrier I have it posted at:

By searching for the old version, fueled by petroleum (some were in use in the 70ies, as I remember), I've found this forum of German collectors. With many pics Enjoy it! :) http://www.verkehrsportal.de/board/index.php?showtopic=94117

Oh, there are collectors for everything. Just found this minute, on the search for collectors of police lightbars like Link to "www.sondersignalanlagen.com" (my brother-in-law can orgazine some, if you have the need for it ;) ), I've found this -for you surely great- Flickr-collection: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ampelfreund/with/6266811317/ His name "Ampelfreund" - "Traffic light friend" says everything.

P.S. http://www.sondersignalanlagen.com/ is a complete forum for fans of all kind of special light signal lamps mainly, but not exclusively from the police, and not only from Germany.

P.S. As it seems on the pic, all the traffic lights, "Ampelfreund" has taken photos of, are his own collection! :wow:

@ingo: Ampelfreund has some Ossi traffic lights, but he lists the manufacturer simply as "VEB". :)

VEB is short for Volkseigener Betrieb (people-owned enterprise), and was prefixed to the names of all East German state-owned enterprises.

@rljuna2: Naah, not neccessary, just click on the headlines and threats, than you can see the pics. This forum is just one of the very many internet-forums anywhere on the world, which are running with the same vBulletin-systematics. So construction and structure are always the same.

Maybe I should ask the DDR-car-specialist in my plate-forum, if he knows, what exact VEB has produced the traffic signals. Very probable he would know that.

P.S. I'm not only ignoring the green arrow, as mentioned here, /vehicle_380025-Wartburg-353W-1975.html (I did it again, last August, when we visited my brother-in-law nerby Berlin :) ), I also deny to accept the DDR-style "Ampelmännchen" when I'm pedestrian :o
