I guess a Commer? |

The front of the roof on the Commer PB was extended to cover the top of the windscreen - not seen here. It was so the wipers could be hidden at the top of the windscreen. Also the dark area similar to the Commer badge is too high, on the Commer it would be lower. It is probably an Austin J4 unless somebody has a better suggestion. /vehicle_63683-Austin-J4.html -- Last edit: 2011-10-31 11:10:57 |

Screen does not look right to me for J4, though general shape OK. Not saying it's a better suggestion, but I'm wondering about Standard Atlas, perhaps in 1961-ish Leyland 15 and 20 version to give right badge outline - eg /vehicle_50858-Leyland-15-1965.html and http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/2011/07/12/features-carbodies/ but the humped roof is different. |

Just a thought: Austin/Morris 250JU? |

Windscreen wrong for 250JU (larger rounded corners). Standard Atlas is similar but wipers are mounted below the windscreen. The picture here shows them top-hung but exposed as the Austin J4 (even to the wierd parking position). |

The convex windscreen suggests it is an Austin or Morris J2: the J4 screen was flatter. |
