This truck is most certainly a 1948 only model. No difference for almost all models indeed. But according to the (linked) 1947 and 1948 brochures, the 3809 had only single rear wheels until the second MY of Advance-Design trucks line. Not a stake, in fact, but a platform, also sold as a factory separate model. Which means a 3808 Chevrolet code. |
