tv boy ◊ 2011-03-18 00:16	From the IMdB: Goofs: Anachronisms: The car driven through the pumpkins and crashing into the barn during the Halloween party sequence appears to be a 1960s Austin Healey. This car did not exist during the 50s period of the movie.
dsl ◊ 2011-03-18 00:31	Car is a bit of a mongrel. Grille design (thumb) is 100/4, either [BN1] Sept 53 onwards or [BN2] Oct 55 onwards. Bonnet with air scoop appeared on Sept 56 onwards 100/6 [BN4] when grille shape changed and bars were arranged horizontally. The paint with two-tone and the blue metallic was typical of 3000 Mk2 [BN7] 1962 onwards and particularly Mk3 [BJ8], Feb 64 onwards. So the car may be correct, but its presentation as a later model is causing the problem.
