According to http://www.cocheargentino.com.ar/b/borgward.htm these were built in Argentina from 1961 till 1963, whereas the German factory went bankrupt in 1961. But it looks like it's got the bigger Borgward-rhomb in teh grille as used on the earlier versions (1954-1956), though I cannot see it clearly on my primitive screen... Maybe an import car? |

Well, not sure. But this probably a brand new. No info about of early-imported Borgwards. But surely have the special bumpers for RA: http://www.testdelayer.com.ar/borgwardisabella.htm |

It's definetely the bigger, pre-1959 rhombus, so an earlier, imported car. |

Indeed, 'made for RA' by the bumper, but I'm afraid it is an imported car, not locally produced, because of that older grille... What a pity ![]() |
