The body is made in Greece and the name is ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ = APOLLON, no other Greek three-wheeler used those headlights. There were two variants, 12 1200cc engine and 14 1400cc. I'm not sure it was Mazda based. Most had VW or Opel units. |

Oh, really? I thought, they were powered by Honda- or Mazda-engines. In 1993 on Corfu I've seen still several of them. There was one specific Three-Wheeler-model, which has double round front lamps. It's chromated frame around them has irritated me, because it looked exactly like that of the NSU TT ![]() |

Many of them are now converted, besides there were several and I don't have detailed information for all. By their time in Greece was much easier and more practical to deal with German parts and engines than Japanese, however I wouldn't be surprised to discover the exception.. -- Last edit: 2011-02-26 11:34:25 |
