I wasn't really sure what it should be. Every other ice cream truck I found on the site was classified as a "van/MPV" including a Ford F-Series based open top Good Humor truck. This one is similar in design.

Most ice cream trucks these days are built into Mutli-stop vans. The ones that you're thinking of, rusty_mutt(Ford F-Series based open top Good Humor trucks), were cowl & chassis trucks that were phased out by the 1970's.

If a ½-ton model (116"/2.95 m wheelbase), a 1947-48 Thriftmaster / 1949-53 3100. The model code was the same, not the name.
⇒ 1947 Chevrolet Advance-Design [3112] (i.e. 1947 just as default model year and without precise model name)
