1988-1993 model, although the headlamps appear composite, so it could be a 1990-1993 model. 1994 models introduced the refreshed aero sweptback grille which had bulging, vs. the 1988-1993 model aero sweptback grilles which were virtually flat. First thumbnail captures shows the hard plastic dash with ‘80s "electronic age" inspired controls with digital readouts. |

Definitely newer than a 1990. My friend's 1990 K-1500 has an entirely different guage cluster. The one in bh's pic looks closer to his 1994 Suburban. |

1991-1994 needle style cluster. Could be an extremely rare 1991 only needle cluster but I'm not that good at IDing them. I just know 1988-mid 1991 they used these moonie style gauges. I will leave differences below. 1988-mid 1991: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/81584034-17.html - some '91 have the older cluster Mid 1991-1994: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/13605983-20.html 1991 with older: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/70963017-3.html 1991 with newer: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/28936704-20.html Reason we know it is a mid year change is because those sought after clusters have a different plug than the 1992-1994 style making those more difficult to swap into the 1988-1991s. So the 1988-early 1991 wirth moonies look for late 1991 needle clusters. |
