As it's a japanese version, shouldn't it be Nissan instead of Datsun ? |

They also used Datsun (in 60s, but I do not know since when and until when) |

I think it's on some models only. The pickups, the Fairlady 2000 roadster, etc. However, for this one, I tend to believe what Ebbro says : Link to "www.ebbro.com" |

Jun, who is from Japan and as some serious references, identified others as Datsun. But only Bluebird 1200/1300 models. On the other hand, as you said it, Ebbro uses Nissan, and on Wikipedia article about the Bluebird 510 they say that for this one Datsun name was used only for export markets... So maybe that they used Datsun for some Bluebird and Nissan for some others? Jun, help! -- Last edit: 2006-08-02 21:39:20 |

In Japan, Datsun Bluebird was changed to Nissan Bluebird in 1976-07-09. (from the release of 5th generation) Image of 5th gen. http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~zu3h- This is Datsun Bluebird & 1970 from the position of reverse lamp |
