Ho, there was no licensed Mercedes-production in China. AFAIK no foreign licensed production at all. Volkswagen was in the 80ies some of the first. GM, Steyr, Citroen and the others came later. So the first Hong-Qi looks a bit like a Mercedes W120, but it was nothing official, just a self-cobbled half-copy. |

definately the original 1956 model, theres a hump that starts at the grille, and runs alongside the cab. Doesnt appear to have the hinges that would open up the passanger side front window either. |
