The chrome stone guards on the rear fenders were only in 1947/48. In 1948 the car had chrome hubcaps, but I'm sure the wheels we see here are not the original ones. Anyway, the car is too new since the plot seems to be set in 1939, although there were 202 Cabriolet Décapotables back then, with 'Pilote' wheels and a lion's head on the spats instead of the stone guards. |
