The year is right, Ddey65, and your guess as to coach builder probably is correct too, although S&S models from the Eureka Co. also could match the style of this movie car. BTW, Superior only made the 51" Model 616 Rescuer ambulance (like this one) to special order; as such, no two units were exactly alike. The large, Federal Q2B siren on this movie car was optional and cost $205. Rare vehicle ! |

BTW, folks, I made a big boo-boo in my previous comment. The well-known "S&S" professional car models are made by Hess & Eisenhardt, NOT by Eureka ! |
