I mean the bleu car in the second picture. It is definately a Supercinq... In any case the blue car is not a Talbot Horizon. The shape of the bumpers, the indicators, the headlights al look very much like an R5 See also /vehicle_5129-Renault-5.html -- Last edit: 2006-04-26 21:51:31 |

I do not think it is a supercinq, thought it may look a little like because of the low quality of the picture |

Yeah after close examaning the picture again....it may also be a Horizon |

I'm sorry, but I must agree with DIEHARD, the bue car is a Renault 5 'Supercinq'. The hood getting down on the grill and along upper inside vertical sides of front lights is a clue to say it. Look at the same area on the Talbot, and you will see that hood describe a straight line along light/grill/light. The front bumper also is typical shaped of Renault 5 |

Finn-made Horizons look a bit different, thanks to bigger, Saab-style bumpers. http://www.rootes-chrysler.co.uk/finland-horizon.html |

I find it quite different from an Horizon, but no more close to a R5. If only I did not upload this extra picture... Original one: http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j283/Bean_Bandit/pohjhoriz2.jpg (as I cropped/recompressed them) -- Last edit: 2006-04-27 00:00:09 |

...sorry ! am still not convinced ... the blue car have a dark grey shield as bumpers (like the Renault 5 had), the Horizon have a prominent metallic black bumper... isn't it obvious? It is a Renault 5 !! |

-- Last edit: 2006-04-27 00:12:20 |

Hmmm the problem is that the two sides of the car are really different due to light conditions. (From our point of view :)Actually, if you figure only the bottom-right part of the car, it really looks like a R5. But the left side seems to be from either a complete different car, or severely smashed. And the windshield has a weird shape, too ... Light conditions maybe are causing this ? (dark shadows mean intense light ...) Edit: but you can use the light explanation to legitimate either point of view ... Too few light on the left side could make the R5 headlight look "shorter" and look like a Talbot headlight. Too many light might make the right headlight "shine" a bit and make it appear bigger, as a R5 headlight. ( That being said, I would go for a R5, too ) -- Last edit: 2006-04-27 02:07:25 |

If you are talking about the blue car, it seems to be to be two different cars. I don't see the extra running lights on the main picture that are on the thumbnail. |

http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/1660014535/ It can't be this, R14 I could accept, but not this! |

As celluloid said, I think the right part of this car(left on the pic) is smashed, considering the other side of the front, I feel this Renault 5 Supercinq very very very closed to the blue car we are discussing about... Up to me = Renault 5 |
