Okay...the pics night cub provided above are cool, but I don't think are all of the light green Fury. The middle pic is of a light brown Dodge Monaco and the bottom ones (right above my message here) are of a black Dodge Monaco (not the light green Fury) Hunter used a few times in season 2.

But, the light green Plymouth Fury, the main pic, should NOT have 4 stars! :??: :wow: It was only used in an episode...maybe 2 towards the end of first season. This was never a regular car Hunter used for very long. This should have 1 star...maybe 2 if pushing it. The only car of Hunter's that should have this many stars is the signature dark green 1977 Dodge Monaco--and it needs 5 stars. ;)

McCall's husband Steve's car (pictured right above), in 3rd Season's "Requiem For Sgt. McCall", was a silver and/or gray Monaco or Fury...not the light green Fury with the "junker" front end. Even so, whether the light green fury or the silver one--both were only used once. McCall's husband was dead when the show started...so the episode featuring him was a "flashback" one, and Steve only appeared in that one episode. So, the 4 stars is still not accurate. None of the cars pictured above were trademark or "regular" vehicles used a lot by the main characters. The main picture here, of the light green Fury, should have maybe 1 star (possibly 2)...not 4.

The 4-star rating is for the Fury that Hunter drove in several episodes of Season 1, a car driven by a major character for a long time. It fits the context for the episodes it was used.

I added the Fury that McCall's husband drove here because it another 1977 Fury, and I am not trying to add cars that are already listed for the series. In this particular episode, it would rate 2-stars. This is the car used in the episode "Requiem for Sgt. McCall."

During first and second seasons Hunter used many different cars--the main ones being the early 1970's Chevy Impala or the old Nova. He did have a couple old Monacos, and this old Fury...which I only remember from the last episode of the season, "Sniper." He might have used it in another episode before that, but I still don't think 4 stars is accurate. To me that would mean he used it primarily during the whole season. Perhaps 1 or 2 stars is a little low (but not much)...so maybe 3 stars would be more fitting.

I didn't think you were trying to add cars that were already listed (huh?? :wow:)...it just seemed somewhat odd to me that you continued to add other Monacos (which is not the main car pictured) as well as Furys that are not of the main car pic. But, I guess adding the Furys can be used for some kind of comparison. As for Steve McCall's car in "Requiem," 2 stars probably would be accurate.

Usually in a TV series, if a vehicle is used for a long time, even if just in one or two episodes, it can still qualify as a 4-star vehicle. But many do come to a compromise by just classifying them with 3 stars.

That's cool...it's no big deal. I don't really care how many stars--just thought it was strange this light green Fury had the most stars. At first I thought maybe it'd been mistaken for the dark green Monaco, but no matter! :) I love being able to come here and find out the exact years & models of the cars used on the show! :king:

No problem, your inquiry was more than understandable ;)
