I think that's a Ford AR Tudor, around 1928. http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/f/28forAR2dr_AQ.jpg -- Last edit: 2008-04-13 12:22:56 |

NO Fords here! the taxie is a 1929 DODGE and from memory the other car is a Whippet about 1928 |

Dude, take it easy. And yeah, it could be a Whippet, but it won't make sense 'cos the grille don't match. Look at the sun-shading, for example, it's nearly identical to the Ford's one. -- Last edit: 2008-05-12 17:37:05 |

1929 Dodge seems to match. Look at that bumper. http://www.justbeautifulcars.com.au/graphics/dodge29side.jpg -- Last edit: 2008-05-12 17:56:47 |

Here is a closer photo of the car: Link to "cache4.asset-cache.net" |

The picture in puterboy's link is a similar but different car - note it has cowl lights and a different licence plate. That car is a 1928 Dodge Standard Six Deluxe like this one - Link to "www.fotosdecarros.com" Being right hand drive it will be one that has been sourced in New Zealand. The car in question in the main pic looks to be a regular Standard Six without cowl lights and other Deluxe features. -- Last edit: 2016-03-19 20:27:18 |

After almost precisely ten years, this has finally been solved! |
