It's Kuban G1A1 produced by Краснодарский механический завод (Krasnodarsky Mekhanicheskiy Zavod - Krasnodar Mechanical Plant). Then proper name of this bus should be - I think - KMZ Kuban G1A1. Factory produced about 100.000 buses from 1962 to 1989. In 1993 they change name of factory to AOOT "Avtokuban", and in 2001 they went bankrupt. http://denisovets.narod.ru/remz/remzpages/modelpages/kuban_kubang1a1.html http://denisovets.narod.ru/remz/remzpages/factorypages/kuban.html |

KMZ already listed here (as maker of motorbike K-750 "Dnepr") is Kiev's Motobike Plant (Zavod) KMZ making that bus is Kranodar's Mechanic Plant. Imean it another KMZ. You can call it KrMZ. But you've got list it as another make i think. -- Last edit: 2010-03-03 20:50:45 |
