Cheyenne was the name of the Silverado sold in Mexican market. |

Silverado name was used on the Tahoe; hence the name change [GMT800]. |

Sort of, on the recent models, GM has used the Silverado name for Regular Cab and Cheyenne for Extended and Crew Cabs. They also badge a lot of these trucks as 2500 in Mexico, even Regular Cab 6.5' bed models like this, which would be a 1500 in the U.S. and Canada. @dhill_cb7 is also correct on the [GMT400] Tahoe being called Silverado in Mexico, so I don't know about overlap or not. This one here is badged as 2500, but does not have any 'Silverado' or 'Cheyenne' badging since it's a base model. Link to "auto.mercadolibre.com.mx" This one is listed as Cheyenne, but no badging. https://auto.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-679299521-chevrolet-cheyenne-1999-_JM |

Basic model were badged by their weight, more upmarket models (with chromed mirrors) were called Cheyenne Link to "www.autominded.net" Link to "www.autominded.net" |

...So this would just be a 1500, not a Cheyenne. Cabina Regular? |
