A real diplomatic plate? If yes, from which country? |

For sure not from Italy. Yesterday I've watched this film and I've noticed too this strange (at least for me) plate. Someone can identify it? |

Plate style looks like Luxembourg from 1970s - no idea how long the style continued or whether it applied to CD plates. |

Effectively I've forget that don't exists only "Corpo Diplomatico", but also "Corps Diplomatique"... Looks like quite similar to Luxembourg plates, thank you. |

For novelty value, I've just created our first ever Made for Luxembourg entry on the whole database. But I suppose it's an indulgence against protocols and should revert ..... |

That's quite frivolous, dsl, we're not even sure it's a Luxemburg plate. |

....Yvon52 is from Lux., he must know. |

I can live with "quite frivolous" ..... From wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_Luxembourg 1] Luxembourg plate dating from 1966-1978, with white lettering on a black background ![]() 2] CD numbers are issued to those with relevant diplomatic status (format: CD plus two sets of two digits separated by a hyphen) So apart from the statement that their CD plates have a hyphen now it looks like a perfect pre-78 CD plate for L. I wonder how many diplomats L actually has (or needs). -- Last edit: 2012-10-15 18:56:40 |

The Luxemburg diplomatic corps have an official logo after CD -> http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/jpglps/EU_LUXE_OT.jpg Maybe that's only the rear plate, the rest fits. Luxemburg is a fiscal paradise so not unimportant. Even Mitt Romney uses it. |
